Creating custom brushes
Paste an image into Photoshop, select it then go to Image, Adjustments, Threshold. Select the setting that looks best. Select the image then choose Edit, Define Brush Preset. The brush tool can be used to copy your chosen image, resize and colour it. I added some noise then the text.
